My vehicle specification is to use Octane AKI  inex of 87 as per manual .

In my area the standard is 94.

Question is ; should my timing be advanced or retarded to compensate the difference in octane ratings .

My idle the STFT is above zero by 5 during idle   and the timing hovered between 7 .(Currently I used PC to change the timing offset and the idle sits now at 10 degrees during idle .)

I have always felt my vehicle is slightly sluggish and burning RICH for most of the time .

I am still experimenting with HHO  and until I get an xml for my ECU I am unable to make changes to my mapping .
