Hey Flyingdoc,
Having worked with hexavalent chromium compounds for a number of years, I'd have to see the scientific data as to whether or not the 316SS cells are actually producing it. Has anyone suspected trivalent chromium as being a byproduct of our 316SS cells? Trivalent chromium can be found in our run-of-the-mill daily vitamin tablets and is supposed to be good for us. I'll be doing some lab testing of my own regarding this matter soon. Until then, 316SS. My next cell will be using thermally sprayed Tungsten Carbide coated plates. The goal: more gas, fewer amps. To our health...!
Hi joe, as far as evidence goes ,i saw a utube clip where a guy used a hex c tester kit csi style where u mix a bit of cell electrolite into a small flask drip in the test solution ,if it turns pink its a positive...it was! i realize this proves nothing without more extensive data. Anyway your next cell sound promising ..goodluck mate n keep me posted ,we'll get there eventually.cheers .
