I am new to this group. I built and installed a wet cell system in our 1999 Chevy Cavalier about 3 years ago. I wasn't aware of dry cell systems then. I have a one gallon cell with 6 plates and use distilled water with a pinch of KOH flakes. I am using a PWM adjusted to a 30 percent on time. The system is drawing about 6 amps. Everything about the engine performance has changed. It runs much smoother, feels more powerful, and runs cooler. The car now has a good "feel" when driven.

just recently removed part of my equipment for maintenance and I still get a 4 mile per gallon lift on the Volo chip

I'm now gearing up to install equipment in Illinois, I have an computer business and I want to add a revenue stream and this is lookig like a good way. Especially with the price of gas being so high. We need to roll with the punches that the economy is giving us.
I have decided to put a larger unit (3 liter) in my car with an OBD read out device

the electronics was a 60 amp power module with variable frequency to contro the amperage and I used a VoLo performance chip programmed for my buick 2005 la crosse I set it uo so that I could turn it on or off at will inside the car. I used a duel tank setup so that my cell operated at 100 degrees even with full amperage.. I had a closed loop circulatory path from the cell to the first tank and then a feed from the top to the larger tank that is hoigher up in the liquid loop as it dumped gas with electrolyte back into the higher tank. ther is a hose in the bottom of the tank that returned the fluid back to the lower tank for return circulation. My car calculated my gas mileage and gives me continuous infornation on performance.

Just curious, what did you use on the electronics?

not many comment this year I have 3 client that want me to install in various vehicles

now that I got my Buick 2005 la crosse going and am gitting a 30% lift in gas mileage. I have determined that the unit I am using  is to small for my car (3.8 liter engine with  fuel injection)and am going to put a 2 to 3 liter per minute drycell replacement and see if i can get even better mileage

hello new to the group.any of yous guys ever experiment with a chevy caprice or any v-8 equipped GM vehicle from about 1994? I think it was the first year for OBDII for that car but not sure about other GM's that year.Also I've got a MAP and MAF sensor (Maf is frequency type).Building the cell is not a problem at all, though I'm wondering what all I'll have to do to adress all the sensors to enhance the cells dirty work.any suggestions would be awesome thanks...
