Greetings,

We have sent out messages before about how we have duplicate Geo located groups and how some of them are totally inactive. After analyzing the issues we realized that the problem exists in the fact that most Geo located groups cover large areas, Most groups cover an entire state or country. Given that most people don't travel entire state or country distances on a regular basis and most peoples outer limit would be about 100 miles or 160/km as something they would do on a monthly basis we have decided to end all Geo located groups in favor of MeetUp Groups. MeetUp groups pull from local communities and have a limited radius footprint. So all Geo located group leaders please make note that if you want to have a group it will have to be run through the MeetUp system. You can get started by visiting http://hydrogen-on-demand.com or http://www.meetup.com/Hydrogen-On-Demand/ DO NOT GO STRAIGHT TO MEETUP.COM as it will not show up within the broader community system. NOTE! Once you have created your MeetUp Group for your area you can come back to HODINFO and create a specific group to target that meetup group and help it gain traction within the community and rank within search engines. By this we mean you can place the URL of your MeetUp Group as the official address of your group here on HODINFO. The groups will have to have the same name and be targeted in this manner in order for us to allow it to be added to the system. All new groups will have to be approved from this point forward. Here is an example of a meetup group that we just set up for the Treasure Coast of Florida. http://hodinfo.com/group/treasure-coast-hydrogen-on-demand#axzz28ty... Please set up your group in a similar manner. We know this is a big change and some members might not like this but if we are to truly be an active community of HOD builders then we need to have a viable infrastructure that underpins the functions of the community. As a result of this effort to make groups more community based this group will be deleted. We ask that members from within this group start your own meetup groups. This will allow all members from within your area to come together.

Hello to the group. I'm in the South KC area and I'm looking for some like minded partners to team up with to do some design testing. I have a deep understanding of both the physics and the electronic reactions involved in the electrolysis of water to a fuel and have some ideas I would like to try out on some existing cells. Would prefer an emersed plate as opposed to a "dry cell" for the experiment. Have the tech know how, but lack the fabrication facilities to proceed with my ideas.

Anyone interested?

Hi, Just joined this group.
live in St Louis, Would like to see some working units.
I am getting ready to test a unit on the bench. I don't see
much activty, Is it because it does not work or is gas
just too cheap?

if its a wet bath type I would stay with 1/16
my dry cell I have @3/64

My plates are 1/16 inch apart, and thinking about adding that other cell spaced at 1/32 inch apart to see what, if anything it would do to the mist that comes off the water when the generator is operating. If I can keep them from arcing across at that distance.

I belive you would get more if you set up your plates differt. Is this a wet cell? I run my plates about 1/16th spacing.

My plates are set up -+-+-+- . that is 1 cell .The cells are set up in series at the moment. I have thought about adding another cell above the water level with a spacing of.030 to take advantage of any vapor coming off the 2 base cells. I am wondering if that would not cause a possible spark and set the whole thing off. That is a close setting and is going to be difficult to assemble. I live close to a salvage yard and get my materials (all plasma cut scrap) from them. I have to cut them to size, drill them, grind any sharp edges off, clean and assemble. I sand a crosshatch pattern on both sides of every plate. Seems to work a bit better. I am not scientific. I just tinker with things to see what I can do. Call it a retirement hobby. All to stay active and alert.

you said the "1st and 7th plate are negative" is the 4th plate a pos?
a -nn+nn- set up?
And hook in series with other like it or are you call the 7 plates 2 cells?
Do you have any states on diesels tractors you have ran them on?

Dont really know about volume. I am sure some goes out in water vapor. I just wire up the cell and test it in a bucket of water whenever I try a different modification. From my first to whatever mod I am working on now, I have checked them that way. If they work, great. If not, I take them apart and start over
