Greetings,

We have sent out messages before about how we have duplicate Geo located groups and how some of them are totally inactive. After analyzing the issues we realized that the problem exists in the fact that most Geo located groups cover large areas, Most groups cover an entire state or country. Given that most people don't travel entire state or country distances on a regular basis and most peoples outer limit would be about 100 miles or 160/km as something they would do on a monthly basis we have decided to end all Geo located groups in favor of MeetUp Groups. MeetUp groups pull from local communities and have a limited radius footprint. So all Geo located group leaders please make note that if you want to have a group it will have to be run through the MeetUp system. You can get started by visiting http://hydrogen-on-demand.com or http://www.meetup.com/Hydrogen-On-Demand/ DO NOT GO STRAIGHT TO MEETUP.COM as it will not show up within the broader community system. NOTE! Once you have created your MeetUp Group for your area you can come back to HODINFO and create a specific group to target that meetup group and help it gain traction within the community and rank within search engines. By this we mean you can place the URL of your MeetUp Group as the official address of your group here on HODINFO. The groups will have to have the same name and be targeted in this manner in order for us to allow it to be added to the system. All new groups will have to be approved from this point forward. Here is an example of a meetup group that we just set up for the Treasure Coast of Florida. http://hodinfo.com/group/treasure-coast-hydrogen-on-demand#axzz28ty... Please set up your group in a similar manner. We know this is a big change and some members might not like this but if we are to truly be an active community of HOD builders then we need to have a viable infrastructure that underpins the functions of the community. As a result of this effort to make groups more community based this group will be deleted. We ask that members from within this group start your own meetup groups. This will allow all members from within your area to come together.

Brown water usually comes from using tap water, or using baking soda.

To Walter Griffith

Start out slow and small, best advice I could give ya.

Build your own generator, not hard.

There lots of plans on the internet, google HHO. Also, be very careful of buying one ready made, lots of scammers out there. Lots of junk, too.

I started many years ago with just stainless steel plates, 4x4x1/16. placed in a battey box with a 1/2 inch thick plastic cover held on with screws. worked well.

Now I build my own containers. 4 inch PVC will work, like the one that Smack built and shared with all.

Hope this helps.

Hi y'all. I live in Wills Point, 50 miles east of Dallas. would like to know how everyone is doing with their HHO experments.

Just found this site a few days ago, looks like it contains a lot of info/questions.

Been into HHO for several years. Still not getting me truck to run on HHO only.

My Booster is in a renewal stage, and I am working on high voltage.

Would be very interested in getting together with any and all.

Thanks,

okay was told to come to the texas group ,i'm disabled and money is tight because of this so trying to find out how much i would be looking at to do hho have heard 50.00 - thousands of dollars.i see stuff that looks easy and stuff that blows my mind.i got a 98 gmc sonoma 4 cylinder.to give you a rough idea how much i have to play with my wife and i get 1012.00 a month to live off so not much.if it's 50 dollars fine if it's 500 well will be saving for awhile but don't want to mess with having to replace it every month i hear they last a long time to a very short time so looking into it if it's worth while.if anyone lives south east of fort worth it'll be easier for me to understand it if i can see it

There may be water, salt, electrolytic generation of chlorine (Cl2 dissolved in water was yellow-green), it may be residual chlorine used to disinfect water.
Copper electrode under the influence in the corrosion current, sir, as copper chloride, and then produce cupric hydroxide (floc), a small amount of cupric hydroxide in the water yellow.

Hi All,

I have found that using steam distilled water instead of plain distilled water has helped the most with the brown water, which I believe to be minerals.. Gerber pure water (steam distilled) is sold at Wal Mart and seams to work well...

now then, can anyone tell me the best way to stabilize the electronic side.. I want to push 36 volts at 10 amps..  thanks.

Howdy to all you HHO dudes and dudetts,
Been doing some minor experiments with and researching installation mods with HHO generators and am now ready to adapt to my '06 Chevy Cobalt SS. My engine is a 2.4 ltr normal aspirated engine A/T with no mods at this time. As of now I am getting approx. 32 MPGs (which is good but want gooder) and would like to improve of course. I travel 43 miles one way to and from work. Can anyone assist me with what mods will be needed and what other items would be needed to make the generator work with my application? Thanks for any input and am glad I found this site. Seems to be quite a bit of knowledge found here so far. I am also looking to find if there are any other HHOINFO members in the Dallas/ Fort Worth area where we can get together and exchange info.

What are you using, I am using baking soda and someone told me that's why it's the baking soda that turns brown and that i should use potassium hydroxide or koh I have not used it yet but plan on it and I add a little salt to it and OMG it looks like something that came out of a dirty toilet

Wayne Keefer asked about his water turning brown. I have found that to be a major problem for me, too. (Wayne, it isn't the brass fitting, that will turn it green!) I believe it is oxidation of the metal plates, even though they are 316 SS. If I go very long without changing the electrolyte, it will blow a 40A fuse.

Anyone have suggestions on this?

A message from wayne keefer to all members of Texas HHO group on HHOINFO!

can someone explain why my water is turning brown I don't know why but I have a copper or brass barbed fitting on the top for the gas output would this be why? 5306waynekeefer@gmail.com
