the only think i have to say about this drycell is there is a lot of wasted ss.  SS inches means more current and more production without heat.

Actually, the most important and main reason for using the dry cell design over any wet cell design is that there is an enormous amount of "current leakage" in every wet cell design due to the fact that the unshielded edges of the submersed plates allow for the current to "take the path of least resistance" which allows the current to jump around the outside of the plates from edge to edge instead of passing through the plates and just wasting amperage wth ZERO gas production, instead of actually making more HHO. We've played around with hundreds of cell designs over the years on our "North Coast Flow Testing Lab" mobile HHO flow bench with all N.I.S.T. certified meters including a specifically modified ALICAT digital flow meter that can measure the flow rate of 31 specific gases, including being calibrated for HHO. We've found that the lesser amount of holes within the gasketed area of the plates produce the least amount of current leakage, and it's better to use a single larger electrolyte flow hole rather than multiple smaller holes both at the top and bottom of the plates... it's all a matter of "area" in square in/square mm of the holess... a simple calculation. Also, by calculating the "current density" of your design, you can design your cell to produce the amount of HHO you need for any application, without producing virtually any heat. In other words, you can test two different dry cells with the same size and type of plates with one having let's say twice the amount of gas producing surface area, and both cells will produce the same amount of HHO at let's say 20 amps, but the one with half the usable surface area will heat up the electrolye steadily, but the larger properly designed cell barely allows the electrolyte to raise in temperature... It's all due to the current density calculation. It's amazing what you can learn by utilizing accurate, certified meters... Plus anyone else with N.I.S.T. certified meters can reproduce identical results. As in any scientific experimentation, it's a must to be able to have REPRODUCIBLE results... I truly believe this is one of the main reasons why HHO technology has been frowned upon and laughed at by the engineering and scientific community due to the lack of true scientific data, and poor measurement techniques (like pop bottles and a stop watch to measure HHO) to substantiate claims of mileage increases and gains in horsepower and torque. About the only thing most HHO experimenters can prove is cleaner tailpipe emissions with a 5-gas analyzer during American EPA automotive emission testing by switching the HHO system on/off during testing. That's one of the reasons for the formation of the "International HHO Institute" (IHHOI.org).
