Is Stainless Steel 316L the best Material to use as Electrodes ?

How about use Nickel-Brass for Cathode and Hastelloy C2000 as Anode ?The electrical Conductivity of these Metalls is much better than SS 316.With this we could use a non-caustic Electrolyte like…Continue

How does the Thickness of the Electrode Plates affect the HHO Production ?

Started by Hans Peter GROTE. Last reply by don Aug 9, 2012. 10 Replies

The internal electrical Resistance is reduces by increasing the thickness of the Electrode Plates.  This would also increase the Voltage between the Plates and improve the HHO Production !Continue

Can we increase HHO Production and Efficiency, if we pressurise our Dry-Cell to 75 p.s.i ?

@ Stephen

I use a SS corrugated tube that may be wrapped to coolant hose.I will post some pictures..

Why not use a heat exchanger that is connected to an engine coolant source and a small pump?  You would technically be leveraging wasted heat from the engine.

@Hans

-NNNNNNN+ is already 8 cells...will require a very strong electrolyte even at 14 volts to work properly. Or an electrolyte heater. 6 cells have fast response and 7 may best solution with preheated electrolyte. that parallel configuration need a thicker Anode and good electrical connections.

How do you configure a Dry-Cell for a Truck with a 24 Volt electrical System ?

Should you use two 12 Volt HHO Generators connected in Line, or Construct a new Generator ?  Would a Configuration  - nnnnnnnn + nnnnnnnn - work with 24 Volt ?

I can not post the test results without permission which will not be forth coming any time soon.    In regards to the best material the use of C-276 and the use of magnets will result in the best of all worlds.  The problem is the cost to savings makes it not worth it.  There is a limit to the gains that are cost effective.  There is a point that more is not cost effective.   This of course in regards to the internal combustion engine.  Other uses of HHO might find it cost effective.

Thank you for this Info. Where did you find the Test about Plasma - nitrided Electrode Plates promote Production of parahydrogen ?

Comment by Carter on March 18, 2012 at 1:53pm

The reactors become more electrically efficient and less corrosion but the process promotes more parahydrogen making the gains not worth it.  In proprietary testing it has been confirmed that this is the case.

I am happy to help with this breakthrough Info, because it will help to make our

HHO Generators work more efficient and less corrosion makes them last longer.

Plasma nitriding also improves the Surface conductivity of the nitrided layer. The ICR ( interfacial contact resistance ) is reduced.
