HODINFO is a collaborative think tank. We are an International group comprised of inventors, scientist, mechanics, tinkerers, fabricators, and out of the box thinkers. Our mission is to find innovative solutions to the problems that primarily limit the production and delivery of H2. As the world wakes up to the idea of using hydrogen it also becomes clear that immense infrastructure initiatives will be required to make it happen. If adequate solutions can be found to support HOD systems then the world can remove great and costly limitations on future applications. It is important to realize that the future is not just Hydrogen, it's Hydrogen-on-Demand.

Well Hello to whom that is reading:Let me describe my cell first. 4x4 inch square plates 31 plates. 4 electrical negative inputs & 3 positive outputs 24 neutral plates. Pretty common. Now here's…Continue

"I haven't posted much lately, but here it goes. Sorry I don'y have photos of what I've changed. But the cell has twin 1/2 inch outlets into the side of the bubblier. For those of you that have foam issues try putting stainless steel…"

"I think you need to rethink your design. First let me explain what you did wrong. You are combining 2 things in your design that prevent you from making an efficient cell. The current flows through water with electrolyte just the same as a wire. You…"

"What Mr. McKean is true. The laws of diminishing returns come into play. A wrecker operator that I helped add a system to at .25 lpm per liter of engine displacement was able to get 2 more hours of run time per tank full of fuel. Thinking as you he…"

"First of all most late model Fords have 4 o2 sensors have you have modify their signal to the ECM. Two up stream & two down stream or you'll not get the benefit your looking for. If your a novelist on engine management  I encourage a…"

"Oh Okay. Check the net some guys are using 110 v. & 220 v. A/C. They show large output. Others have found a membrane that separate H & O2 How ever they are after just the Hydrogen Also check out Bob Boyce he use a 110 v. inverter in his…"

"50 amps ! You must have one very large cell. A rule of thumb is .5 amps per square of plates in the cell. Other wise you will produce more steam than HHO. Plus automotive charging system voltage is well above 12 volts. Closer to 13.8 to 14.2 volts…"

Gordon Babcock replied to Jaco Bezuidenhout's discussion 'HHO flow rate difference between DC and PWM DC.'
"First I'm no expert. How ever what I've found is without a pwm one must lower the amount of electrolyte additive to keep temp/amps down hence lower production. My first wet cells container deformed from over heating it only produced at…"

"I agree with most that Martin Moore states. But you may wish to check on the net. Two people use refrigerator compressors to raise the pressure of the HHO they've produced. Another man capped off his wet cell & powered it up. At 85 or 90…"

"What is your electrolyte? Do you have foam in your reservoir? I'm assuming that your cell is producing foam because it is new and not conditioned yet. Foam tends to restrict gas bubbles from moving off plate surface. Foam is contamination and…"

"do you have 1-way check valves close to you cell on your gas output to keep the gas from pressurizing your cell, thus pushing fluid into your water reservoir or taking the place of the water turned to gas?"

What is your HOD level of experience?
Novice Builder
What do you do for a living or have special education in?
Associates degree in applied science Auto tech. Mich. registered Master mechanic since 1976. In the mid 80's I repaired natural gas compressors, pump jacks, VRU's and generators. When the company I worked for left the state I went back to automotive repair. i'm disabled due to Auto accident, but I can't stay away from machines
Is there anything else you would like to add?
One very interesting generator I worked on was called a CO-generator. Natural gas fired 5801 cid twin turbo V-12 engine turning 22 Kw gen. But here's the kicker it also produced 247 Deg. F. dry steam. When this unit would stay running it cut the Dairies utilities by 1/2.
