I read somewhere that there is a company that will for a small fee send you a wiring schematic of your complete automotive system. I don`t remember if you had to include vin number or not. Does anyone know about this, or has my imagination run wild again? Thanks in advance for the help....Jim

I've read this can be a problem when the engine isn't warming up enough to evaporate condensed water inside itself due to short runs, really cold weather, faulty cooling system thermostat, etc.

Not only does it prevent excess vapor from reaching the engine by allowing it to be caught and cooled down by the water, but it prevents corrosive electrolyte vapors…"

There is always water vapour from the ordinary combustion and that water will follow the engine oil a little bit, and then condense on the top of the engine = oil fill cap.

I have a 2005 Dodge Ram 1500 with Hemi engine. It has 260,000 miles on it. I have a 4x4 11 plate dry cell, with a 1 gal. resevoir. I have been trying to get the electrolite mixture right. In doing so, have never gotten above 15 amps output. It now appears that the relay has quit. It is a 30 amp relay. I just recently had some foaming. I noticed that inside my oil filler cap, there is a coating of rust. Is it possible that I am getting a lot of steam into the engine? What would be a good cure?…See More
