Just how bad is Ethanol?

Started this discussion. Last reply by Jason Flash May 12, 2014. 4 Replies

My research has shown that Ethanol is a combustion efficiency inhibitor. Use of fuel that does not contain Ethanol gave me an average of an extra 35 miles per tank (18 gallons), or a 14% increase in…Continue

Starting From Scratch: Mileage Modifications On My Stock 1996 Jeep Cherokee

Posted on November 12, 2010 at 10:00pm 2 Comments

If you read my other blog, "Taming the beast" you know all about my hyper experimental 1996 Jeep Cherokee 2.5L, which has about a dozen different modifications to increase combustion efficiency. Unfortunately, due to a number of mechanical issues that must be addressed on that vehicle, experimentation can no longer continue and that Jeep…

"The Beast", a 1996 4 cylinder 2wd under-powered Jeep Cherokee

A little over two years ago I purchased "The Beast" in an Ebay auction for $650. It is a 1996 Jeep Cherokee SE with a 2.5L 4 cylinder EFI engine and manual 5 speed transmission. It has 31 inch tires and a 3 inch lift kit. It's big, battered, boxy, broken in, and used to be beastly in it's…

Taking Your Mileage To The Max

Does a 50% to 100% increase in fuel economy seem far-fetched and out of reach to you? It did to me, until I learned some techniques that allow you to squeeze that much more out of every car. Sure, you might have an awesome kick-butt HHO system. But if you realize how HHO is really doing it's job, by molecularly pre-treating the fuel for better combustion, you begin to wonder what else we could be doing to improve the process further.

Rebuttals to common arguments about HHO and Hydrogen on Demand

Posted on November 19, 2009 at 4:00pm 9 Comments

I've put together a list of some of the most common arguments against HHO and Hydrogen on Demand and how to defend the technology against them. A=argument R=rebuttal

A. "It doesn't work. It has never been proven to increase economy or decrease emissions by anyone..."

R. Incorrect! The concept was proven to work in a laboratory environment, and documented by the US Dept. of Transportation in a publication called "Guidelines For Use of Hydrogen in… Continue

We are looking for resellers.  We are particular who we team up with and we try to stay focused on our target markets.  We can talk and see how we can mutually benefit each of our companies.  Is your main website bettermpgtoday.com?

Primary difference is that its built to automotive spec (components) with aluminium enclosure for better heat sinking for better reliability. It also charges to a higher voltage (600 vs 420). Then there is the built in fuse, and indicator LEDs.

You might want to check out the picture I posted of a prototype device that was inspired by Tuning 101.  It has a quad digital EFIE with adaptive control, MAF/MAP, IAT & CTS controls.  Time delay relays,  and a whole host of features.  The final version will be available in January 2011

Mike,
We now have the ability to re-program the car's computer, so we do not need the mini computer. The new kit will be called: MMPG System (Plug and Play) This kit has worked on all cars, to which it was installed and the mileage increase stays.
