Christer Dirfeldt replied to Nuwan Wijekoon's discussion 'Engine Vacuum line'"A small vacuum is nessesary to get all of the hydrogen into the engine. If the vacuum line goes to the bottom of a carburettor it is ok, as long as your cell can withstand the vacuum without deformation.
In diesels, a venturi of some kind is needed."
