Robert Bley replied to Gordon Babcock's discussion 'I'm looking for suggestions to improve my cell'
"I think you need to rethink your design. First let me explain what you did wrong. You are combining 2 things in your design that prevent you from making an efficient cell. The current flows through water with electrolyte just the same as a wire. You…"

Robert Bley replied to Dusty Allen's discussion 'Grants'
"I think a few people have tried to get grants, but they generally get turned down because they are not scientists working for a lab, etc. You really need credentials to get a grant for research. The closest thing I can remember is an engineering…"

Robert Bley replied to danny's discussion 'neutral plates'
"The simple answer is that the plates are electrically linked through the common solution. Each side of the plate is a different polarity that's why you see plus and minus next to each other all the time. The only way to change that is to wire…"

Robert Bley replied to FyrStrtr's discussion 'What does the pulsing do?'
"I know you have read that pulsing doubles the output, but that is not true. Any PWM pulses voltage. You don't double the output of a cell when you hook up a PWM. Test this yourself. D/C voltage is a type of pulse. The waveform of d/c is a…"

Robert Bley replied to Robin S Hooper's discussion 'I'd like to understand HHO as a basic principal'
"You can put 2 rods in a solution with some baking soda (mild base) using distilled water. Hook up an amp gage on the input and use a multimeter to test voltage. You should not let the water boil because as the temp goes up your resistance goes down.…"

Robert Bley replied to FyrStrtr's discussion 'What does the pulsing do?'
"I just realised what you were asking about. Your plates being shorter would have less surface area. That would produce less gas. You referred to the "Height" of the plate as "Thickness". If I am correct in my assumption you would…"

Robert Bley replied to FyrStrtr's discussion 'What does the pulsing do?'
"Pulsing is supposed to allow HHO to be released more effectively. If a pulse matches the neighboring plate it could interfere with the bubbles and bunch up, but if the bubbles are produced at different frequencies those bubbles flow more…"

Robert Bley replied to Jeremy Dukes's discussion 'Need help! Would anyone care to comment on capacitive hho gas production.'
"It is very simple:       Measure the input voltage and amps. Multiply those numbers and it gives you watts (ex: 12v X 10a = 120Watts) A typical cell will produce 1 LPM with 100 watts or so depending on efficiency. If you…"

Is there anything else you would like to add?
I am also working on plasma ignition and incorporating that technology with HHO and water in an attempt to run an engine exclusively on water.
