Hi, I am currently assisting one of my friends with an install that he has done, before I met him, and helping him to figure out some issues. Some of the things that are plagueing me are the best location for unit placement, what wire to splice into (vice just unhooking the rear window defroster for example and useing that as a power source) and which sensors to "modify". I have read some material that in just installing the sensors alone wil give you gains without the actuall HHO gen isntalled. Have yet to see anything substantial on that. As for my friends car, he states an improvement from 29MPG to 34 MPG. BUT...and I mean BUT, this is only after we have both gained and then lost the MPG gains. We have been able to keep the gains by just reseting the computer every few hundred miles or so with out the need of sensor enhancers.
???? I don't know if this makes to much sense.
My theory was that the sensors try and bring the exhaust back to its acceptable dirtyness (factory spec) after a few readings. The new parameters are now going to nullify the mpg gains that were attained from the HHO gen (because of it causing a more complete burn the exhaust is now not dirty enough) I really am at a loss here as to what to make out of this. I guess I'm trying to figure this out as to what is doing what before I make the leap into installing one into my car. On another note....
My girlfriends parents saw the material that I was reading and had stated that a reputable mech is attempting to install one in a vehicle that he has in the shop. The mech stated to my GF's parents that it is not recommended to install one of these into a car that has over 75,000 miles.
How did this info get out??? That would mean that the systems work and trials have been done and it is now reccomended that the systems.... what ever!!
Have you ever heard of anyone not recommending to install one on a vehicle because of the amount of milage on a car???
I havent until now. Which I think is a crock of crap!! Anyway, I'm trying to figure out how to capture the gains achieved, wit out much sensor modifications.

We have a 1.5L Paseo, and the unit's doing .75L/min.
I'm not sure yet about who gets the best. I've seen posts saying units work better on diesels and big engines, but see the most gains on little cars. Go figger.
No problem, I figured it out. I am pulling more amps than I thought. I dropped it down to 2 cells and held almost the same gas production as 3 cells. Which probably means instead of 90 amps, I am pulling more like about 100amps.
